2019 Miss Jasper County Fair Queen Contest

The 2019 Miss Jasper County Fair Queen Pageant will be held on Monday, June 24th at 7:30 pm at the 149th Annual Jasper County Fair. The six candidates running vying for the title of Fair Queen are pictured below along with a short bio about them. During the Miss Jasper County Fair Queen Pageant, there will also be a Little Miss Pageant.

A new addition to the Queen pageant this year is the People’s Choice Award. A table will be set up the day of the pageant near the entrance to the grandstands for the community to vote for their favorite candidate. One dollar equals one vote and the winner will be determined by the person who raises the most money/votes. The candidate with the most votes will receive a plaque and half of the proceeds collected.

Sadie Brewer

Sadie Brewer

Sadie is the 20 year old daughter of Heather Wilson, and John & Leslie Brewer. Sadie graduated from NCHS in 2017, she is currently attending ivy tech college pursuing an associate’s degree in applied science.  She plans to complete her five year apprenticeship with the plumbers and steamfitters local UA 157 to become a building trades journeyman pipefitter.
Mykayla Spelbring

Mykayla is the 18 year old daughter of Courtney & Travis Spelbring and Wendy & Ray Page. Mykayla graduated from Newton Community High School in 2018, she is currently attending Lincoln Trail with plans to transfer to Olney Central College to become a massage therapist.

Michaela Baker

Michaela Baker

Michaela is the 19 year old daughter of Heather Baker, and Shannon & Lisa Baker. Michaela graduated with the class of 2018 from Evansville North High School, and is currently attending Olney Central College majoring in mathematics and secondary education, with plans to teach as a college professor.

Natasha Smock

Natasha is the 19 year old daughter of Jeremy & Jackie Smock. Natasha graduated with the class of 2018 from Newton Community High School, she is currently attending Olney Central College with plans to transfer to EIU in order to pursue a bachelor’s degree in forensic psychology.

Paige Klingler

Paige Klingler

Paige is the 18 year old daughter of Tony Klingler and Jamie Davis. Paige graduated with the class of 2018 from Newton Community High School, she is currently attending Eureka College continuing her volleyball career while also studying Secondary Education and History. After college Paige plans are to become a history teacher at Newton Community High School.

Brianne Duncan

Brianne Duncan

Brianne is the 17 year old daughter of Tasha & Ian Duncan. Brianne will graduate from Newton Community High School in May 2020, she plans to attend the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign to become an aerospace engineer.
