The Queen of Hearts failed to appear during the Queen of Hearts drawing held by the Athletic Boosters. Tonight’s card was 50 which revealed the ten of hearts.

Eagles Place Second in St. A Tournament
The Newton Eagles Soccer Team placed second in the St. Anthony Tournament held in T-town. On Saturday, the Eagles defeated Christ our Rock Lutheran and Salem to cinch their 4-0 record in the tournament. In the game against Christ our Rock Lutheran goals were scored by Ross Farley (four). Carder

Eagle Olympics at JCJH
Jasper County Junior High held their annual Eagle Olympics on Friday. During the afternoon event, the students are able to participate in various games and activities, many of which are team oriented, and at the end the different classrooms face off in tug of war and a “pie” eating contest.
