The Newton Elementary Strong Boys ran their 5k on Monday, May 17th. The run begins at the grade school with fellow students cheering them on and the group runs down to the Old River Bridge down the Eagle Trail and back to the school. This program is ran by volunteers and the kids and adults train before race day to build up stamina and create strong bonds as well as work on self esteem.
