The Newton Masonic Lodge 216 held their annual academic dinner on Wednesday, May 12 at the old Sunrise Youth Center in Newton. The Newton Elementary Strong Boys ran their 5k on Monday, May 17th. The run begins at the grade school with fellow students cheering them on and the group runs down to the Old River Bridge down the Eagle Trail and back to the school. This program is ran by volunteers
