On Sunday, August 14th, the ducks will race at Newton Aquatic Center. in the 10th Annual Duck Race for St. Thomas School. At 11:00 am the ducks will race down the slide and to the finish line with the person who purchased the winning duck number receiving $600, second place will win $250 and third place will win $100. Only 500 ducks will be sold and they can be purchased at St. Thomas School, St. Thomas Church, Peoples State Bank, and The Medicine Shoppe.
There will be free swimming until noon for those who had a duck in the race.
