Early Voting
General Primary Election
The office of the County Clerk is open for Early Voting for all precincts in Jasper County from February 5, 2026, until March 16, 2026. Located at 204 West Washington Street, Suite 2, Newton, IL. You may vote in the office from 8 am until 4 pm Monday through Friday, until the day before the March 17 th General
Primary Election. Saturday hours will be 9 am until noon on March 14 th , 2026.

Federal Scholarship Tax Credit
Should Illinois Opt into a federal program that would provide Public K-12, private school,
and homeschool students with privately donated funds for academic needs, such as
tutoring and test preparation, educational therapies for students with disabilities, tuition,
books, exam fees or for other specified academic needs?

Notice: Elderly and Handicapped Voters
Notice is hereby given of the availability of registration and voting aids under the Federal Voting Accessibility for the Elderly and Handicapped Act, of the availability of assistance in
marking the ballot, procedures for voting by vote by mail ballot and procedures for voting early by personal appearance.
In compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), early and Election Day voting sites offer handicap entrance, wheelchair accessible voting booths, and voting equipment.
When using the voting equipment, you can choose to have the ballot displayed on a large-print screen or read to you through headphones. You can customize the font size, screen contrast, volume, and speed of speech.
Privately, you use the touch-screen feature or arrow keys to navigate through the ballot choices and make selections unassisted.
If you have difficulty physically entering either the early or Election Day voting site, you may want to take advantage of the voting by mail option.
