The Jasper. County 4-H general show judging was held on Friday, June 21 at the 4-H building. 4-H members brought in their projects to be judged with an option of first or second place. After all of the projects in a category were judged, Best of Show and State Fair entries were decided.
The 4-H portion of the fair began with the general show and will continue throughout the weekend and into next week. Over the weekend, the cat and dog shows will be held on Saturday and the poultry and rabbit shows on Sunday. Monday is grandparent’s day/4-H showcase and the sheep and goat shows. Tuesday is the swine and beef shows. Wednesday is an off day for the 4-H with Thursday rounding out the week with Master Showmanship, Dairy and the 4H auction at 5pm.
