The City of Newton Street Department will be replacing a bridge in the 400 block of South Lafayette Street.
Beginning Thursday, June 25, and continuing through next week and into the following week, the sidewalk and this section of roadway will be closed to through traffic. Access will be limited to local traffic only while the work is being completed.
Please plan alternate routes and use caution when traveling near the construction area. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to improve this infrastructure.
