The Newton Elementary School 5th and 6th grade band and chorus concert was held on Tuesday morning. The chorus began the concert by singing Amani Utupe, Play Ball, Quiet Sea, and More to Me.
The 5th grade band then performed Surprise Symphony, Skip to My Lou, Southern Roses, Mexican Jumping Bean, Aloha “Oe, and This Old Man.
The 6th grade band performed Polly Wolly Doodle, Kookaburra, William Tell Overture, Ode to Joy, Yankee Doodle, The Man on the Flying Trapeze, and Sing Noel.
The 5th and 6th grade combined band performed Eagle Summit March to end the concert.
