At 7 pm on October 15th candles across America will be lit to remember those babies who never had the chance to grow up, who will never be forgotten, and whose parents never got to hold them or only held them for a brief time.
The Jasper County Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group will be honoring these memories with a candle lighting at Sam Parr State Park in the White Oak area, beginning at 7 pm. It is requested for those attending to please arrive by 6:45.
In addition to the sea of candlelight, the names of those being remembered will be read. If you would like to have your little loved one’s name added they can be sent in advance or added that evening.
If you are unable to attend they welcome the addition of names to be read. If you have not suffered a loss they encourage you to attend to support those who have.
