American Legion Auxiliary Honors Veterans with Free Meals in November
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 20 is expressing heartfelt gratitude to local veterans this November by covering the cost of their meals at the Jasper County Senior Center. Located at 904 West Jourdan Street in Newton, the Senior Center welcomes veterans to enjoy complimentary meals throughout the entire month.
This generous gesture includes both dine-in and home-delivered meals, ensuring that all veterans—regardless of mobility or schedule—can take part in the appreciation event. Veterans are asked to simply state their veteran status when placing or receiving their meal order.
