American Legion Auxiliary Honors Veterans with Free Meals in November

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 20 is expressing heartfelt gratitude to local veterans this November by covering the cost of their meals at the Jasper County Senior Center. Located at 904 West Jourdan Street in Newton, the Senior Center welcomes veterans to enjoy complimentary meals throughout the entire month.

This generous gesture includes both dine-in and home-delivered meals, ensuring that all veterans—regardless of mobility or schedule—can take part in the appreciation event. Veterans are asked to simply state their veteran status when placing or receiving their meal order.

The initiative reflects the Auxiliary’s ongoing commitment to honoring the men and women who have served our country. By sponsoring these meals, Unit 20 aims to show appreciation for the sacrifices made by veterans and their families, while also fostering community connection and gratitude.

For more information about meal options or delivery arrangements, veterans are encouraged to contact the Jasper County Senior Center directly.
