Rosary Procession Lights the Night at St. Thomas Church
The faithful gathered in unity and prayer at St. Thomas Church on Wednesday evening, October 22, for a moving Rosary Procession hosted by St. Thomas and St. Mary Parishes. The event, held in honor of the Most Holy Rosary during the month of October, drew parishioners and visitors alike to join in a candlelit expression of faith and devotion.
The evening began at 6:30 p.m. in the St. Thomas Parish Center, where attendees assembled before processing around the church grounds in prayerful reflection. The Glorious Mysteries were recited in unison, their words echoing softly through the night as flickering candlelight illuminated the faces of those gathered.
The procession served as both a renewal of a cherished Catholic tradition and a public testimony of faith, as participants prayed for the intercession of the Blessed Mother and meditated on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Following the procession, Fr. Tomy offered a blessing inside the church, inviting those in attendance to bring forward religious items for blessing.
The peaceful glow of candles, the rhythmic recitation of Hail Marys, and the sense of unity among parishioners created a truly inspiring evening. The Rosary Procession not only strengthened hearts and spirits but also reminded all present of the enduring power of prayer and community.
As one participant reflected afterward, “It was beautiful to see so many voices praying together—it really brought a sense of peace and closeness to God.”
The October Rosary Procession at St. Thomas stood as a radiant example of faith in action, lighting both the night and the hearts of all who attended.
