Eagles Wrap Up Outstanding Season as LIC Champions
The Newton Eagles closed out their soccer season with a hard-fought match against the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes. Despite their best efforts, the Eagles came up just short, ending an incredible season with a final record of 16-5-2.
The team’s accomplishments this year were nothing short of impressive, highlighted by earning the title of Little Illini Conference Champions. Throughout the season, the Eagles demonstrated determination, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that made them one of the top programs in the area.
