Frank was born June 12, 1958, the son of Francis Donovan and Margaret Louise (Zuber) Meyer of Wheeler, Illinois.  He graduated from Newton Community High School in Newton, Illinois with the Class of 1976, and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in chemical engineering.

Frank worked for more than 30 years as a senior project manager and senior validation consultant in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.  He traveled within the United States and overseas as part of his work.

A farm boy at heart, Frank, relished his time at the family farm growing up and later, visiting, fishing in the ponds, driving around with Fat Albert, one of the many farm dogs over the years, and checking in and visiting with relatives and former neighbors.

He and his younger brother Joe were outnumbered by seven girls in the family. A distinct memory was Frank sitting on a sidewalk lamenting the news of the family’s sixth girl, asking when he was going to get a baby brother. That came three years later, followed by another sister.

Surviving are his brother Joe Meyer of Wheeler, Illinois; sisters, Patricia (Chris) Rutter of Edwardsville, Illinois; Ellen Meinhart of Effingham, Illinois; Jane (Mark) Pickering of Bloomington, Illinois; Marilyn (Rick) Peterson of Appleton, Wisconsin; Shirley Meyer of Chicago, Illinois; and Julie (Tim) Ryan of Rochester, Illinois; 12 nieces and nephews; and 8 great-nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are uncles, John Meyer of Wheeler, Illinois; Eugene Zuber of Olney, Illinois; and aunt Catherine Humphries of Springfield, Illinois.  Frank was also survived by dozens of cousins from the Meyer and Zuber families.

Frank was preceded in death in his immediate family by his parents and a sister, Cindy Goldstein, and by many aunts and uncles.
