The Jasper County Health Department will celebrate a major milestone this month, marking 60 years of service to the community with a special open house event.
Residents are invited to attend the 60th Anniversary Open House on Tuesday, March 25, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Jasper County Health Department, located at 106 E. Edwards Street in Newton.
The event is intended as a community celebration honoring six decades of public health service in Jasper County. Since its founding, the health department has remained committed to protecting, promoting, and improving the health of local residents through a variety of programs and services.
Organizers say the open house is also an opportunity to thank the community for its continued partnership and support over the years.
Community members will have the chance to visit the facility, learn more about the services offered by the health department, and celebrate the organization’s long history of public health work in Jasper County.
The Jasper County Health Department expressed appreciation to residents for their ongoing collaboration and involvement, noting that community support has played an important role in helping the department serve local families for the past six decades.
All community members are encouraged to attend the celebration and help commemorate 60 years of public health service in Jasper County.
