Dalton Allen was born on May 17, 2008, the son of Dustin Allen and Bethany Rae (Bunton) Marshall. He graduated this past month from Newton Community High School with the Class of 2026. Dalton was known by his classmates and friends as “DMar.”
Dalton accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was baptized on April 12, 2017. He was a faithful member of Scott Avenue Chrisian Church in Newton, Illinois.
Dalton loved God and his family. The ways he showed that are still evident today.
He was a hard worker and dreamed of owning his own business someday. He had worked two summers at the Newton Aquatic Center. He also worked with Jordan Michels mowing and taking care of yards. He recently started working for Precision Concrete and Construction. He was a good friend, role model, and had a smile that will never be forgotten. Everyone who got the chance to know him, loved him. Often you could see him cruising in his bright blue truck and making sure everyone heard him. Dalton loved being with his friends whether they were fishing, playing basketball, cruising, or just hanging out.
