The Jasper County Chamber of Commerce will once again bring some Halloween fun to the community with its annual Scare OFF the Square Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, Oct. 24.
This year’s event will feature the same great trick-or-treating opportunity for local families, but with a different location. Scare OFF the Square will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Jasper County Building parking lot, just south of the courthouse square.
Children and families are invited to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes and enjoy an afternoon of trick-or-treating from decorated trunks.
Businesses, organizations and community members who would like to participate by setting up a trunk and handing out candy may begin setting up at 1 p.m. All participants should be completely set up and ready to go before 2 p.m.
The Chamber encourages community members to help spread the word about the event and invites everyone to come out and enjoy an afternoon of Halloween fun.
