Kylie was born on February 20, 2004, in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of David Lee and Michelle Marie (Ochs) Rauch.  She graduated from Clay City High School with the Class of 2022. She then continued her education by attending Olney Central College where she earned her associate degree in 2025.  Kylie was a lifelong member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, in Wendelin, Illinois.

Kylie enjoyed many activities and interests.  For several years, she was an active member of the Pixley Pride 4-H club showing a variety of animals and projects at the Clay County Fair.  She also earned the opportunity to participate in the Illinois State Fair with flower arranging, public speaking, and dog obedience. Beyond her 4-H participation, Kylie was graciously crowned second runner-up at the Clay County Fair Queen pageant in July of 2025.

Kylie had a great love for animals, especially her beloved pets. She was often found either with one of her many cats, her loyal family dog, or visiting the pigs at her family’s hog operation.

Kylie kept busy as she enjoyed swimming, cooking, baking, and had a love for gardening. She was often found sharing her plant knowledge at her job working at Green Acres Nursery in Olney.

Kylie’s most notable talent was her musical abilities. She was blessed with an angelic voice that she put to great use in many high

school plays, college choirs, and the Holy Cross Choir. Kylie’s musical talents also extended to her ability to play the flute in bands in both high school and college. She also played piano and organ for liturgies at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Olney, and Saint Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville.
