Head Coach Jeanette Hickox praised Sornberger’s performance and the way she represented Newton throughout the tournament.

“Olivia represented NCHS and her community very well. I am so proud of her and her consistent efforts throughout four challenging matches today!” Hickox said.

We are incredibly proud of Olivia and all she has accomplished, both in reaching the state tournament’s top 32 and in earning her 100th career victory. We congratulate her on a memorable state tournament and an outstanding milestone in her tennis career. We are excited for the opportunity to watch her play next year as a senior on the Newton Lady Eagles tennis team.
