Jasper County Homemakers and Community Education organization, sponsor of the annual Toys 4 Kids program, is needing items to complete the gifts for the 2019 recipients.
During the First Chamber of Commerce Holly Jolly Christmas event December 6 our “elves” will be there to collect new coloring books, colors, markers, games and new toys as well as a monetary donation. Those donating an item will receive a chance to win one of 10 butter braids to be given away at the end of the event.
Volunteers are also needed to assist with the shopping for the program, if your organization or family is interested in assisting contact the Jasper County Extension or Connie Elliott at colyelliott@gmail.com and we will make the proper arrangements and provide you with the information needed to assist with the shopping.
Distribution will be December 12 through December 13 at the Sunrise Youth Center and Community Building.
