On January 7, the Newton Rotary Club heard Deb Whitehurst (left), owner of Dibbie Dabbles Floristry and Gifts, speak about her new business, now open at 200 E. Washington St. in Newton. Whitehurst has many years of experience, including Newton Flower Shop and Buds N Blossoms. Her new shop sells fresh flowers, silk arrangements, candy bouquets, gifts, balloons, and more. She can do special occasions such as weddings, or funerals and grave blankets. Dibbie Dabbles is open Monday through Friday 9 to 5, and Saturdays 9 to 1.
