Peoples State Bank Welcomes Agricultural Lender Dustine Smithenry

Newton (June 26, 2019) – Dustine Smithenry recently joined the Peoples State Bank of Newton as a Lender, focusing on agricultural and farming customers. He joins a team of lenders at the Main Branch in Newton, including ag, commercial, consumer and residential lenders.
Smithenry graduated from Newton Community High School and Olney Central College before
attaining his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Eastern Illinois University. Smithenry is
mentoring with Brian Bohnhoff, who provides more than 30 years of knowledge and experience
with Peoples State Bank. Before becoming a Lender, Smithenry was previously the Parts
Manager at Birkey’s Farm Store in Newton.
