As we grow older, we often forget what we were taught in school and we become the people who state, “They should teach students how to ________ in school.” The blank can be a wide variety of things from how to register to vote, what kind of taxes there are, or to how to write a check. Many of these things are being taught to students, however, we are not always privy to this information as adults in the community.
Mrs. Flach, the head of the NCHS Social Studies Department has created a method for educating the public on what happens inside her department and we are both excited and honored to share this with you! “History Happenings” offers community members a chance to see and learn about how this department is preparing our students for the future.
