Starting Tuesday July 7th…. All persons having court cases at the Jasper County Courthouse will be REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE COVERING. Also you will have your temperature checked. If you are found to have a high temperature, you will be denied entrance to the courthouse. This means the check-in process will take longer so please be patient.
Also if you have a court case hearing, you are not allowed to have family or friends accompany you to the courtroom. ONLY the defendant/litigant, attorneys, and court personnel are allowed in the courtroom, with the exception of juvenile cases where a legal guardian can accompany the juvenile to the courtroom. We ask that your family/friends wait for you in your vehicle or have seats on the courthouse benches. This is by order of the Chief Judge.
