There will be a back to school open house for the first grade students at Newton Elementary on Monday, August 10th at 5:30 to 6:30 pm for Ms. Bergbower and Mrs. Kennedy and 6:45 – 7:45 pm for Mrs. Heuerman and Mrs. Zumbahlen.
During this time the students will be able to meet your child’s teacher, see the classroom, lunchroom, hallways, etc and bring in your child’s school supplies.
Procedures/steps in place to minimize risk and follow the guidelines set forth:
Face masks are required for those who enter the building
Temp checks will be completed at the door upon arrival.
The student and one adult may attend so that we do not go over our limit of 50 people per one space.
Social distancing will be observed as much as possible.
Come and go within the hour in which you are scheduled and keep things flowing both in the classroom and in the hallway.
