HCE Week October 12-16th

HCE Week… October 12–16, 2020…is being celebrated state wide to promote HCE, uniting counties in creating public awareness and information about the organization, which was organized in 1924 in Illinois. Today, HCE is comprised of 5,500 women and men of Illinois. The mission of HCE is to enhance the lives of individuals and families through quality educational programs and experiences, while encouraging responsible leadership and service to the community. Altogether HCE members across Illinois volunteered more than 586,532 hours of their time to service projects last year.
October is a busy month for Jasper County HCE! The annual Butter Braid sale is October 1-16; delivery day is Friday, October 23, 4 pm, at the Sunrise Community Center in Newton.
Also, Books For  Beginners will be celebrated this week. HCE members are gifting all of Jasper County’s kindergarteners with their own copy of Hyena Ballerina.
In addition, RADA Cutlery will be sold through October 31.
