Jackie Schackmann was named the 2020 Citizen of the Year for Jasper County. Originally, Jackie was to be awarded this honor at the Chamber Annual Banquet in March, however, the event was scheduled for the week after COVID locked down all events.
A small surprise presentation was held at the West End Reception hall in Newton.
