Robert L. Miller age 85 of Newton passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Charleston
Health and Rehabilitation Center, Charleston, Illinois.
Funeral services celebrating Robert's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., February 20, 2021 at the
Crain Funeral Home, Newton with Pastor Tom Matson officiating. Visitation will be held from
12 noon until time of service in the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Interment
services will be in the Riverside Cemetery at a late date.
Bob was born on December 19, 1935 in Bellair, Illinois the son of Leo and Freda Leone (Mitchell)
Miller. Bob was a retired auto mechanic.
Survivors include siblings Raymond (Rose Mary) Miller of Hunt City, Illinois, Loretta Maddox of
Robinson, Ella Ruth Logan of Olney, Donna K. Adams of Ste. Marie; and many nieces and
nephews.
His parents and siblings James Hammond, Hazel Koester, Rose Mary Garrard, Norma Maxey,
Ralph Miller, Mary Tracy, and Alma Keys preceded him in death.
