The Newton Eagles traveled to Macon Meridian where they faced the Hawks and soared to a shutout game with a final score of 10-0. A clean sheet by the defensive line was due to Luke Milliman, Alex Bergbower, Leo Weber, Luke Weber and keeper Drew Buerster’s defensive skills and teamwork.
Ross Farley and Eli Weber each had three goals, Carder Reich and Gage Reynolds each had two.
Eli Weber had three assists, Ross Farley had two assists, and Austin Moore, Ben Pitcher, and Carder Reich each had one.
The Eagles will face Argenta-Oreana on Thursday.
