Cinderella’s Threads Opens New Location

Cinderella’s Threads offers young ladies (and now young men) the opportunity to have an affordable rental option for prom and other formal events. Cinderella’s Threads is now located at 431 Whittle Ave. With the move, there is double the space from the old location providing the opportunity to expand and offer more items as well as have real dressing rooms.
The open house for the new location will be held on 20th 10am-6pm. Geneva states, “Cinderella and Prince Charming will be here for photos with kids and we will be having a coloring contest for the kids. We will also have a drawing for 2 St. Louis cardinals tickets, 2 cubs tickets, bath and body work sets, make up bags, and more. No purchase necessary to enter and need not be present to win.  Sweet treats by Brenna Keeler will be served.”With our new location we will be offering store hours Monday 2pm-6pm and Saturday 11am-4pm however we do have more hours by appointment on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I would like to thank our previous landlords Joe and Diane, without their generosity over the past two years we would not have been able to build our inventory to what it is, we truly appreciate the space they let us use! I would also like to thank all of the volunteers who showed up to help us move, while we just moved across the street it was no easy task moving 800+ gowns, shoes and jewelry, they however were able to do it in less than 2 hours.
There is not enough gratified in the world to cover how grateful I am for my families love and support, my husband has built walls, shelves and done anything else I have needed but most of all he has been so supportive of my dreams, I love you Jeremy!
To my kids, thank you for the countless hours you have put in at the shop, the drive through dinners and helping around the house when I was overwhelmed, I am so thankful I get to be your mom!
Cinderella’s Threads and Charmings Tuxedos has been blessed by amazing community support! We were able to purchase 50 Tuxedos because of a grant we received from the Carrie Winter Funds. We also have received assistance from Salvation Army, and private parties.
We hope to serve our community and surrounding communities for years to come!
We carry semi formal, formal dresses, bridesmaid, wedding dresses, veils, Tuxedos, suite, business’s wear, shoes, jewelry and more. We also accept donations of the items listed above.”
