Friday evening will be the homecoming (and final home) game for the Newton Eagles Varsity Football.
A few notes:
1. Covid Vaccine Cards will be honored for admission into bleachers.
2. Ticket holders will be admitted into bleachers.
3. Others may stand along the fence.
Unfortunately, due to current state guidelines, the homecoming parade will not happen this year, however, we (the staff at JC Daily News) would like to thank NCHS staff and homecoming committees for their desire and determination to provide as much normalcy as they can while still maintaining the guidelines set by the state agencies.
6:00 pm – Gates will open
6:36 pm – Queen and King Coronation will begin
6:50 pm – Queen and King Coronation will end
6:50 pm – National Anthem (sang by LeRae Bigard) and the NCHS Cheerleaders with the school song
6:57 pm The NCHS Drumline will bring the Eagles onto the field (Marshall will also return to the field)
6:58 pm – Coin Flip
7:00 pm Kick off
During halftime, the NCHS Drumline will perform
