In light of recent events such as my dismissal and Vanette’s voluntary resignation, I have been receiving inquiries about where to submit items for the Newton Press Mentor/Jasper County News Eagle. To simplify this issue, I feel we need to simply share the new information for the community to be informed. We do ask that bear with them through their changes as we do believe there will be continued improvements in their products. Despite the ease of our site and the convenience of receiving up to date news, there is still a need for the printed paper and we know and acknowledge that and wish only the best for them as an informed community is a strong community.
