Newton (June 13, 2019) – Alita Tharp is celebrating her 35th anniversary with The Peoples State Bank.
She serves the bank as a Full Time Teller, transitioning there from the accounting department. Alita has spent all of her banking career at Peoples State Bank, witnessing a few remodels along the way. [read more]
“I enjoy meeting the many good people of Jasper County and watching their families grow and welcome productive members of the community,” Alita said. “I highly value the friendships I have made working alongside my fellow employees over the past 35 years.”
Alita has a daughter, Kristy, who with her husband Michael, has three sons: Jesse, Seth and Drew. Alita enjoys spending time with her family and friends, flower gardening, teaching Bible class, traveling and sightseeing, trying new places to eat.
