Lyndale Frederick Lude, age 65, of Dieterich, Illinois, passed away at 9:26 PM – Friday, August 27, 2021, at HSHS St.
Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral services celebrating Lyndale’s life will be held at 10:00 AM – Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the Meyer Funeral
Home in Dieterich, Illinois, with Mike Knepper officiating. Burial will be in the Dieterich Village Cemetery in Dieterich,
Illinois. Visitation will be held 5:00 -7:00 PM – Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the funeral home. The obituary can

Lyndale was born on October 30, 1955, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Elmer and Treva (Harper) Lude. He graduated
from Dieterich High School in 1974.
Lyndale was Operating Engineer and a member of the Operation Engineer Local Union 841. He was a member of the
Grace Lutheran Church in Dieterich.
Lyndale enjoyed farming, tractor pulling and spending time with his grandson, Hayden.

Children – Joseph Lude of Bruner, Missouri
Jennifer Lude (Kirk Hyden) of Leander, Texas
Grandson – Hayden Fisher of Leander, Texas
Brother – Bill Lude of Whitehouse, Tennessee
Other Survivors – Robyn Lude of Leander, Texas and Becky Groves of Dieterich, Illinois
Lyndale was preceded in death by his parents.
