Caroline Sue “Sue” Walker, age 82, of Olney, Illinois, passed away at 12:52 PM – Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Funeral services celebrating Sue’s life will be held at 2:00 PM – Saturday, February 19, 2022, at
the Mt. Gilead Church, 3598 East Mt Gilead Lane, Olney, Illinois 62450. Burial will be in the
Forrest Ridge Cemetery rural Wayne County, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon
until service time at the church. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home

Caroline Sue, better known as “Sue” was born December 7, 1939, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of
Eugene and Fern (Farley) Bradbury. She married Dan Walker on September 11, 1965, and he preceded her in
death on November 25, 2001.
Sue retired in 2005, after 30 years with the USDA Farm Service Agency in Olney.
Sue was a member of the Mt Gilead Church north of Olney, Illinois. She enjoyed gardening, traveling,
cooking, and volunteer work. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Sue is survived by her loving family
Daughter and caregiver – Lisa Goodwin, Hendersonville, Tennessee
Grandchildren – Walker Goodwin, McCrae Goodwin and Chesney Goodwin
Sisters – Donna Rosborough of Oblong, Illinois and Roberta Ridlen of Oblong, Illinois
Sister-in-law – Sherry Bradbury
several nieces and nephews also survive
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother Monte Bradbury.
