Penny was born March 3, 1947, the daughter of Miland (Mac) and Margaret McClain. She
married Ivan Coleman on June 2, 1967. They enjoyed more than 52 years of marriage before he
passed in 2019.
She is the mother of Angie (Brad) Campbell of Westfield, IL, Michael Coleman of Newton, and
Krista (Brian) Ochs of Newton. She has six grandchildren and is “Gigi” to eleven great
grandchildren.
Mrs. Coleman retired in 2006 after working more than 35 years at E.R. Moore in Newton.
