The Illinois State Police released information about a single vehicle fatal traffic crash at 775th Street at County Road 1200 North, Jasper County on May 11, 2022 at approximately 7 p.m.The sedan was driven by Jarrett S. Zumbahlen, 24-year-old male of Newton, IL who was pronounced deceased on scene.
PRELIMINARY:
A preliminary investigation indicates the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling northbound on North 775th Street at County Road 1200 North, Jasper County. For unknown reasons, Unit 1 left the roadway to the right and struck a large tree. The driver of Unit 1 was pronounced deceased on scene by the Jasper County Coroner. The roadway was closed for approximately 2 hours. This is an open and on-going investigation and no further information is available at this time.
