The Newton Eagles fell to Red Hill at home with a final score of 17-22. The Eagles Scored with 2:12 left in the first when Meter Tarr drove in on 3rd and goal. In the second with 8:36 left Quarterback Max Meinhart sends a 13 yard pass to Austin Moore. Payton Harris receives a pass from Meinhart for the two point conversion bringing the score to Newton 14 Red Hill 6 at the half.
Gage Reynolds starts the scoring for the Eagles with a 25 yard field goal in the third quarter. Red Hill then scores in the last quarter of the game to bring the final to 22-17.
