Whoville, Ste. Marie Christmas Farmers Market, and Sainte Marie Foundation House

The Ste. Marie Community Club presents the 2nd Annual Whoville on November 26th from 10 am to 5 pm at the St. Mary’s Parish Center in the Village of Ste. Marie. The 2nd Annual Ste. Marie Farmers Market will be held on the same day from 10 am to 5pm.

This magical town will be transformed into Whoville with a picturesque event featuring an ice skating rink, face painting, hot cocoa and concessions, wagon rides, cotton candy, kids crafts and games, and appearances by the Grinch, Cindy Lou Who, Martha May, and Mrs. Clause and before you leave stop into the Whoville store to forever remember your fun filled day in Ste. Marie.

As the evening approaches, you can join the community for the town tree lighting and Christmas caroling. There will be food in the Ste. Marie American Legion and a wine tasting upstairs hosted by Irene’s Vineyard.

While you are in Ste. Marie you can mark many of your friends and loved ones off your Christmas list by stopping into and stepping into a picture perfect Christmas moment at the Ste. Marie Foundation House and Museum. During the Ste. Marie Christmas Farmers Market there will be available for purchase, Ste. Marie Foundation souvenirs, Sun Family Farms – oranges, apples, chocolates, cheeses, pecans, and more, Handmade Wreaths by Dorette Ochs, Sweets, Treats, and Eats – Baked goods, Marble Makings – Homemade soaps, scrubs, etc., The Black Pearl – Darci Marble, Hardinville Christian Church Ladies – baby quilts, Hooked – Crochet items, 3 Lovely M’s – crafts, Gangloff’s – persimmon pulp and walnuts, Pokorney Kettle Corn, Pork Rinds, and Crafts, Laura Rowell – Crafts – Signs.

The current museum exhibit is “A Vintage Sainte Marie Christmas.”
