The Ann Crooker St. Chapter NSDAR celebrated their 120 th anniversary at the
December meeting. The anniversary meeting included entertainment by the
Sweet & Salty Quartet, a cake cutting ceremony and a “visit” from the chapter’s
organizing Regent, Mary Crooker Lloyd. The Ann Crooker St. Clair Chapter NSDAR
was founded on December 11, 1902 and included Mary Lloyd and seven of her
cousins as well as nine other ladies. The Chapter was named the Ann Crooker St.
Clair chapter as Ann was grandmother and aunt to eight of the charter members.
Today the chapter is 126 members strong participating in our missions of historic
preservation, patriotism, and education. The chapter supports veterans and active
military as well as community projects.
