Newton (March 28, 2023) – With the end of March, Lynn Stangle retires from Peoples State Bank; ending her life-long banking career. Lynn began working at a bank when she was only 16. She continued working at banks after college and after raising her family.
“I’m so happy I jumped at the opportunity to work for Peoples State Bank when it was offered,” Lynn said.
Lynn has been a Customer Service Representative and Teller at the St. Francisville branch for 13.5 years. Customers have come to expect Lynn when they visit the bank and know she will complete their business quickly and efficiently
“I will miss seeing our customers – they are the nicest people,” Lynn said. “It has been a pleasure talking with and helping everyone.”
Lynn and her husband, Don, have a daughter, Teri, who is married to Mark Todd. Lynn enjoys taking hikes and four-wheeler rides with Don and their fur babies. In retirement, Lynn will continue to enjoy camping, going turkey hunting, reading and attending her church.
“Lynn has been a dedicated employee during her time with the bank. She has always provided excellent customer service and will be greatly missed by customers and co-workers,” said Stacey Inboden, Branch Manager.
Peoples State Bank, the Board of Directors and all the staff would like to congratulate Lynn on her retirement.
