Preschool & Kindergarten Screenings
❖ Preschool is for children ages three to five, whose birthdate falls on 9-2-18 through
9-1-20 for those interested in your child attending any of the county wide preschool
programs for the 2023-2024 school year. Any child currently enrolled in preschool SY’
2022-2023 who will not be Kindergarten age SY’ 2023-2024 will need to be screened
again for next year.
❖ Kindergarten is for all children who will be five years old on or before September 1st, 2023.
Preschool screening dates & times are as followed:
Monday, May 15th from 11:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 16th from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Kindergarten screening dates & times are as followed:
Monday, May 15th from 11:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 16th from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
All screenings will be held at Ste Marie Elementary School 311 Franklin St.
Ste. Marie, IL 62459. All appointments must be scheduled by May 1st, no walk-in
appointments permitted.
Preschool screenings need to be scheduled by calling 618-783-3651.
Kindergarten screenings need to be scheduled by calling 618-455-3219.
