April is National County Government Month! The nation’s 3,069 counties serve more than 330 million Americans providing essential services to create healthy, safe, and vibrant communities. Counties fulfill a vast range of responsibilities and deliver services that touch nearly every aspect of our resident’s lives. Jasper County takes pride in our responsibility to protect and enhance the health, well-being, and safety of our residents in efficient and cost-effective ways. There are several elected officials and appointed officials that carry out the functions and services of Jasper County government. As we celebrate National County Government Month we will be highlighting the various offices, departments, and services that make up our Jasper County Government.
