The Newton Lady Eagles swept their home opener winning all three matches in two sets. The freshman defeated Altamont with scores of 25-18 and 28-26. The Junior Varsity won with scores of 25-23 and 25-23. The Varsity team finished the sweep with scores of 25-18 and 25-16.
