100 Women Who Care Jasper County Meeting on October 10

(NEWTON, Illinois – September 25, 2019) 100 Women Who Care Jasper County will meet on October 10 at the Jasper County Chamber of Commerce. Registration will begin at 5:30 pm and the meeting will begin  at 6 pm. Light refreshments will be served throughout the evening. Guests who are interested in learning more about 100 Women Who Care Jasper County are encouraged to attend the meeting at no cost.
In April, the giving circle granted $5,100 to Master’s Hands. 100 Women Who Care Jasper County meets three times a year for a one-hour meeting. Members join the organization annually and sign a commitment to donate $400 per year. The first $100 commitment supports the Jasper County Community Endowment, managed by
Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation, to address future needs of the community.
In addition, every member pledges to donate $100 at each of the meetings for that year (whether they attend or not) to be donated to a selected nonprofit organization serving Jasper County. Nonprofits are nominated and presented at each meeting and are voted on by the members. Members under the age of 40 join at a reduced rate of $200 per year ($50 to the endowment and $50 to three nonprofit organizations).
