ROAD COMMISSIONER FOR SMALLWOOD TOWNSHIP, COUNTY OF JASPER, ILLINOIS
This Posting is for the position of Road Commissioner for the Township of Smallwood, in Jasper County, IL.
Requirements for the position are as follows:
The Candidate must be an Able-bodied person with knowledge and ability to operate heavy machinery,
including but not limited to, Road Grader, Backhoe, Tractors, Ten-Wheel Dump Truck, Snow Plow.
Candidate must possess or be earning a CDL License (Possible delay in providing proof of CDL may be
accepted if course completion is pending. NOTE: Township will not provide means or funds to
complete CDL Program)
The Candidate must be a registered DEMOCRAT voter in Smallwood Township
The Candidate must have resided in Smallwood Township for at least one year
Knowledge of Road maintenance, Ditch work, Culverts and Drainage would be a plus
