The Newton Eagles defeated the Robinson Maroons in overtime with a final score of 15-14. The Eagles took the lead in the first quarter leading to a score of 7-0 at the half. With a little over two and a half minutes left of the fourth quarter, the Maroons scored tying the game at the end of regulation. In overtime, the Maroons scored seven and the Eagles scored a touchdown and were successful on the two point conversion to win the game.
