
Newton, IL – April 25, 2025 – Peoples State Bank of Newton is pleased to announce the promotion of Lindsey Ochs and Stella Eyman to the position of Assistant Vice President.
Lindsey Ochs began her banking career with Peoples State Bank in Lawrenceville in December 2010. Over the past 15 years, she has contributed in a variety of roles, including loan operations, credit analysis and most recently as the organization’s internal auditor working in both the Newton and Lawrenceville locations. Lindsey continues to support loan operations as needed and is transitioning into a compliance-focused role.
“Lindsey has done an exemplary job in every role she has played over the last 15 years and I am very excited to have her on our officer team,” said Stacy Moore, President of Peoples State Bank.
Lindsey resides in Olney with her husband, Tyler, and their two sons.. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her children at their sporting events and activities, as well as spending time reading and attending concerts.
Stella Eyman has been a key contributor to the success of the Vandalia branch since it was acquired from First Bank in 2018. She began her banking career in 1998 and has worked in virtually every role in the branch during her tenure there.
For the past four years, Stella has served as Vandalia’s lead residential mortgage lender and continues to support daily branch operations alongside her colleague and Branch Manager, Jennifer Richards. Outside of work, Stella enjoys creating handmade cards, crocheting, and diving into a good book. She also loves camping and cherishes quality time with her friends and family.
“Her experience is a great asset to the bank and the community. Stella is a team player and will continue to do a tremendous job as Vandalia’s Residential Mortgage Lender,” Moore added.
