Ann Crooker St. Clair had twenty- four new members last year, the most out of 103 Illinois chapters. The trophy is a beautiful silver tray that is engraved with the winning chapter’s name and year as it “travels” about the state. The chapter also placed third in the state for number of Junior Members gained with three of the twenty-four being Juniors.
The chapter placed second in the state for most points earned on the Chapter Achievement Awards, a way the state organization tracks and decides what awards/certificates a chapter will receive. Ann Crooker St. Clair will be able to display a “special banner” depicting this accomplishment on their chapter website as well as their chapter newsletter.
The chapter received numerous certificates for their work and participation is various DAR committee projects. One of these certificates was given for the most volunteer hours recorded among Illinois chapters on the Service to America tally. This tally is for volunteer hours our members record in their communities .
