The City of Newton Street Department received notification today that the temporary closing dates of the Scott Ave and Van Buren railroad crossings have changed. Work will be conducted on the following dates:
The SCOTT AVE CROSSING will be closed July 27 – 31, 2020.
The S VAN BUREN CROSSING will be closed August 8 – 14, 2020.
Residents are encouraged to allow extra time and make appropriate changes to their driving routines during these times to prevent bottle necks and ensure everyone arrives at their destinations safely.
